The Ohio State University Women’s Soccer Club is an organization dedicated to providing students with an opportunity to continue their soccer career at a competitive intercollegiate level, in a more relaxed environment. The team has maintained a tradition of excellence and hard work for over 37 years resulting in winning seasons, regional and national tournament attendances, an elite eight appearance in 2012, and a national championship victory in 2014. Comprised of approximately 25 athletes, the club promotes the development of players both on and off the field through excellent training and competitive play as well as multiple leadership and social opportunities.
Participating in the East Division of the Women’s Midwest Alliance Soccer Conference, OSUWSC plays both conference and non-conference teams throughout the fall season, with final standings determining regional and national tournament eligibility. Training also continues through winter and spring seasons that include a winter tournament, occasional scrimmages, and a greater focus on fundraising for the club. Summer training is also available for athletes living local in Columbus.
